This year the St.John’s Triathlon introduces on line registration. New web site is up and running and registration is open at www.stjohnstri.com.
Sign up for the August 10 full distance, sprint distance, duathlon, or team events. And sign the kids up for the Regatta Day Kids Of Steel! Or of course you could just VOLUNTEER.

There’s a new Half Marathon taking place in Mount Pearl this year!

Tune in to Rogers Cable Channel 22 next Monday for Boston Marathon coverage starting with a preview show 9:30am our time followed by 6 hours of live coverage from 10:30am.
And the Women’s Olympic Marathon Trials will be streamed live HERE starting 9:30am Sunday.

The 6th Annual Lighthouse Relay Race To The Sea is set for August 8th and 9th 2008. The 110k run starts near Port Aux Basques and finishes in Rose Blanche. Relay teams should have 11 runners and each member must be over 16 years old.

Last November she won the Top Female Masters Honor at the New York City Marathon. And last week 42 year old NL Runner Stephanie Hodge was First Overall at the More Magazine Marathon in Central Park.
Stephanie has completed more than 50 marathons and among her many victories is a first place finish at the 2004 Nautilus Newfoundland Provincial Marathon.
