Organizers have made some timing corrections for the Gasparilla results bringing George Blackwood just under the Boston qualifier wire with 3:30:59. Note also that Marie Baggs finished 2nd in her age group!

Ironman Broadcast This Saturday
Tune in to NBC TV this Saturday February 16 at 3:30pm our time for a 90 minute broadcast of last October’s Ford Ironman World Championship from Hawaii.
Myrtle Beach
Good Luck to the contingent of NL RUNNERS heading to South Carolina for this weekend’s Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon.
Boston Accommodation Offer

More Florida Heat
Three more NL RUNNERS enjoyed 26.2 miles of Florida sunshine on Saturday.
Completing the Gasparilla Tampa Bay Marathon were George Blackwood (3:30:59), Wayne Baggs (3:48:43) and Marie Baggs (3:59:46).
George squeaked in with a Boston qualifier time, and Marie was 2nd in her age group.
Martin Runs Miami
Congratulations to Yvonne Martin from St.Mary’s on her Miami Marathon finish. Yvonne captured 2nd place in her age group in a time of 3:48:13.
RAK Half Marathon
Noreen O’Neil captured 3rd place in her age group at Friday’s RAK Half Marathon in a time of 1:56:03.

The event is set for August 10 2008, the organizers are meeting tonight, and YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! Drop by Field House (2nd floor above the track next to the canteen) 7:30 tonight (Wednesday) to see how you can contribute to the success of the St.John’s Triathlon.
