Peter Power Takes Miquelon

With more than 7 minutes between first and second place, Peter Power claimed victory Saturday at the 2007 Miquelon 25K in a time of 1:28:23.

    Hi all – Don’t mean to be splitting hairs, but your comment “More than 25 NL Runners made the trip overseas … ” is a little off. St Pierre et Miquelon is only 55 minutes away by ferry, and 10-15 miles off the coast.
    Hardly qualifies as ‘overseas’ !

    Well it IS another country … and there IS sea between NL and Miquelon, and we DID travel OVER SEA to get there! Ha!!
