Hopefully this year prize money will be offered for the Tely 10. Unbelievable that race is still offering no prize money.
There is no reason why the commitee can not put money for top 3 individuals (men and women) and top masters runners (men and women)in the race budget.
For such a growing race it shows no appreciation for hard working runners out there and no initiative to get any good runners to come and race the Tely. Only in Newfoundland could any commitee get away with having no prize money for an event that large. If it were a fun run, just call it the Tely 10mile Trot, but it is classified as santioned NLAA race if I am not mistaken.
