Ann Chafe Moved To First Place
Ann Chafe has now been declared 1st in her age group in the Shamrock Festival Half Marathon in Virginia Beach (1/72) with a finishing time of 1:49:32 . PREVIOUSLY declared second place, a recalculation of results moved her into first position by 0.4 seconds.
Carbonear TRI Earlier This Year
The Carbonear Sprint Triathlon is moving up 2 weeks and 2 hours to Sunday July 15 at 10 am. This 500m open water swim, scenic 20K bike, and flat 5K run is an excellent event for beginners, and a great warm-up for the Ironman 70.3. The post-race BBQ steak dinner and Carbonear hospitality are first class!

Fundraising Social This Friday
The next fundraising leg for Tracy and Kate’s Africa Orphanage Trip is a get-together at the Black Dog off George Street this Friday March 30. Drop down for a cold one any time after 7 pm. $5 cover and 10% of the bar goes to the girls. Door prize is a $200 beverage party pack.
Athlete Of The Year Nominations
Sport NL have named runner Colin Fewer as a nominee for Senior Male Athlete of the Year. Full list of nominees can be seen HERE. Winners will be announced next Saturday March 31.
Track and Field Meet This Weekend
