This Tuesday Feb. 20 there is a pancake breakfast at The Battery to help the fight against homelessness in St. John’s. A group of runners are leaving The Battery at 6:45 am, running down the hill, along Forest Road, back up the hill to Cabot Tower and then returning to The Battery for a feed.
Join in to support this cause … breakfast is $5 and a Raise The Roof toque is $10.

Ann Marie Lane will be one of over one hundred divers joining the Padi Society for “Total Submersion”, a full week of scuba diving in Grand Cayman this April. Although not commonly considered a “cross training event”, scuba diving presents strong physical and mental challenges for any runners training. Besides, you’ll probably find Ann Marie running along the shore line in the afternoons keeping up those weekly kilometers!
