Fitzgerald Smokes Turkey Tea

Will Fitzgerald held the lead to win yesterday’s Turkey Tea 10K in a personal best time of 32:23.

Christiane Martin was first for the ladies in 42:45.

The CIBC Run For The Cure is tomorrow Sunday October 5 starting 10am at the Legion on Quidi Vidi Lake.

You can register today from 10-4pm at the Running Room Churchill Square. Help find a cure for cancer.

Skoglund Runs Lake Tahoe

NL Runner Eric Skoglund who now resides in Labrador, ran the Lake Tahoe Half Marathon last weekend.

Eric climbed mountain roads to an elevation of 6500 feet to finish in 1:58:45 for 2nd place in his age group.

Pardy & Mesh Do T.O. Too

Jeannie Pardy and Michelle Mesh, both from Appleton, also finished the ScotiaBank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Sunday past. Jeannie ran in 3:40 while Michelle was 4:01.
